Steede aims for another Twin Peaks triumph on Monday
The event has been totally dominated by the Ballymena Runners who have provided 12 of the 15 past winners, with Gracehill’s Steede the dominant force in recent years.
The 5K event involves a race to the top of the two mountains surrounding the picturesque North Antrim village of Cargan.

Another Runner, Emmet McAllister, finished third last year and could again make the podium.
The underage section of the Twin Peaks is always fiercely contested with two promising juniors, Shaun O’Boyle and 11-year-old Connor McAllister, finishing fourth and fifth last year, while up and coming star Rachel Brown was the first female home in 11th place.
The event, which see runners out of sight from Cargan main street for only a few minutes, starts at the Greenhills Bar at 7.30pm with registration from 6pm in the adjoining school.
