Steady finish for Declan in Hilden Cup qualifier
Declan steadied himself to finish with two bogeys for a round of 90 ,giving him a net 67.
He finished one stroke ahead of Andrew Gibb (15) and Stephen Shields.
Andrew played very well to complete the front nine in 38.

Hide AdHe finished with two double bogeys for a disappointing back nine of 44.
Colin Hill, Leslie Murdock, Peter Holmes, Jack Shellard George Heatherington and Alan Gilmore were next best with net 70s.
The top 32 scores qualified for the match play stages.
All the net 72s and better qualified and a few 73s. Rodney Osborne (11) had a horrendous front nine of 46 but finished with a birdie two to qualify on 73.
Christain Kennedy (4) had the best gross round of 77.
David Bolas, Mark Jamieson and Trevor Murphy finished one stroke in arrears.

Ulster Cup: Lisburn got off to a great start in this year’s Ulster Cup competition with a 5½ to1½ victory over Shandon Park in the home tie.
Ian Suffern, Keith Mc Crum, Les Murdoch, Brian Houston and John Symington won their matches.
Gary McCambley was narrowly beaten and Shandon were denied a second point when Randal Kernaghan won the final hole to snatch a vital half.
