Springwell’s Orla McGinnis finishes third in Walled City Marathon
Nearly 1300 runners from across the world descended on the 2013 City of Culture, Derry/Londonderry for the Walled City Marathon.
North Belfast Harriers Tommy Hughes made it three victories in a row, having won the last two races in 1984 and 1985, he cruised home in 2:30:32 to win by almost five minutes from local man Greg Roberts who crossed the line in 2:35:29; Pauric McKinney claimed the final podium spot in 2:38:15, a well-deserved prize after the Inishowen AC man.
