Second successive defeat for Roesiders
Limavady United (0) 0
Bangor (0) 1
Chisholm (55mins)
It was far from vintage from either side and in fact there were only three shots on target in the whole game.
United failed to create any real clear cut opportunities like they did against Larne last weekend and suffered the consequences.

Hide AdIn last week's game they created enough chances to win two games but this week failed to make the visitor's keeper make a save.
They weren't helped by the ineptitude of the match officials who gave a string of nonsensical decisions, which included not awarding the home side a blatant penalty.
The game's only goal came in the 55th minute when Gary Chisholm headed home from twelve yards out.
In the first half there was only one real chance. It was in the fifth minute but Michael Doherty tipped over Glen Bowers' half volley.

Hide AdUnited had the first attempt of the second half but his shot was well wide of Graeme McIlibben's goal.
In the 51st minute veteran Gareth Scates had a decent chance but he fired well over Doherty's goal.
Four minutes later the visitors took the lead. Chisholm got on the end of a long throw and Doherty appeared to be deceived as the ball floated over his head and into the net.
Bangor had another chance in the 60th minute but this time Doherty was equal to Bowers' shot.

Hide AdOnly a minute later the Roesiders should have had a penalty. Trevor Hutchinson was clearly upended by McIlibben, and despite the assistant admitting it was a penalty, referee Ross Dunlop failed to give it.
In fact referee Dunlop appeared to let the Bangor players referee the game and allowed himself to be swayed on several occasions.
With sixty-four gone Bangor were awarded a penalty but Dominic Melly's effort was easily saved by Doherty.
United's best chance came in the 74th minute. However Peter Spratt's thunderbolt flew agonisingly wide of the target.
