Rusty Rangers find return to action tough
In the Intermediate Division Raceview have taken over at the top followed by Brantwood but in the three Junior divisions there has been no change in the leadership.

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION
FC Ballynure 5 v 2 Dunloy
Ballynure followed up their win against Rasharkin United last week with a very good win over Dunloy.

Hide AdBallynure took the lead after Mark Tweedie scored on the 23rd minute but Dunloy were back level when Paul Storey scored on the 27th minute.
Ballynure took the lead again when Stuart Smyth scored on the 56th minute and added to this when Mark Tweedie scored his second goal on the 68th minute. Dunloy came back with Benny McGarry scoring on the 69th minute then two goals on the 76th and 78th minutes scored by Stuart Smyth and Ciaran Murphy secured the points for Ballynure.. Ballynure Old Boys 5 v 1 Ballycastle United
Ballynure got off to a quick start with Ricky Chambers scoring on the 5th minute then doubled their lead after Michael Duff scored on the 10th minute and went further in front after Paul McAllister scored on the 15th minute. Ballycastle got back into the game when Alex Watt scored on the 31st minute but two more goals for Ballynure scored by Kenny Higgins and Marc Leckey on the 39th and 43rd minutes saw Ballynure in control of the game until full time.. Brantwood 2 v 1 Clough Rangers Athletic
This was the first game for Clough since December 19th and it showed particularly in the second half against a slick moving Brantwood who have built up a good all round team as the season had progressed.

Hide AdClough took the lead on the 14th minute when Justin Bell scored and held this until Paul Heatley equalised for Brantwood on the 28th minute. Half-time saw the teams still level then on the 46th minute Jonny Hannah scored a crucial goal for Brantwood. The second half saw chances come and go for both teams but Brantwood played it tight and defended their one goal lead until the final whistle..Referee Mr David Gillen
Rasharkin United 2 v 3 Desertmartin
Desertmartin scored with their first attack in the game with Hugo Batista on the mark in the 5th minute and then increased their lead on the 13th minute when Robin Patton scored. Rasharkin came back into the game after this early set-back but fell further behind after Steven Biggar converted a penalty for Desertmartin on the 61st minute.
Rasharkin got back into the game after Colin Craig scored on the 72nd minute this being followed by a second goal when Jonny Nicholl converted a penalty on the 74th minute.
Rasharkin then went all-out for the equaliser but Desertmartin held firm to win by the single goal.Referee Mr Steven Wallace

Hide AdRaceview took an early lead after Stewart Kenny scored on the 6th minute and at half-time were still leading by this goal. Ballymoney got back on level terms after an own goal on the 50th minute and then took the lead when Colm Kirgan scored on the 61st minute. Raceview tried hard to force an equaliser after this and can count themselves unfortunate not to have taken a point from the game.

Glebe Rangers Res 2 v 3 Newtownabbey 7’s
The Sevens took an early two goal lead in this game with goals scored by Colin Chambers and Ross McAllister on the 5th and 13th minutes. Glebe gradually worked their way back into the game and pulled a goal back on the 31st minute then levelled the game after a converted a penalty on the 55th minute. The Sevens responded straight away after the penalty with Simon Lennox scoring on the 57th minute which proved to be the winning goal in the game.. Referee Mr Bobby Fleming

The Colts took the lead on the 1st minute when Ryan O’Neil scored from close range and then added to this with a brace of goals scored by Dean Stewart on the 23rtd and 25th minutes. Finvoy got back into the game after Ricky Nicholl scored on the 27th minute and reduced the deficit further when Gareth Hannah scored on the 43rd minute. Finvoy then pushed forward for the equaliser but Jonny O’Neil caught them on the hop nipping in to score for the Colts on the 61st minute. Finvoy then threw caution to the wind after this in an effort to save the game but the Colts held out by conceding one goal scored by Andrew Magee on the 83rd minute.Referee Mr Paddy McQuillan
