Point Street men pocket a high five
Linfield sit close behind on 35 points following a 4-1 away win at Ballyclare Golf Club B. Andy McIntyre took the first frame for the golfers, with Ross McDowell, Billy Parke, Willy Stewart and Raymond Forsythe taking the next four for The Blues.
Ballyclare Golf Club ‘A’ and St Comgall’s, like Linfield, are on 35 points, but with one win less they share third place.

Hide AdThe Saints had a 3-2 win away at the improving Legion with Anthony McCorry, Dean McDonagh and Alphonsus McIlwaine taking three frames for the visitors, with John Spence and Ryan Scott replying for the hosts.
Ballyclare ‘A’ won 3-2 away at Greenbank A thanks to successes for Tommy Bamber, Trevor Mairs and J McKay. Pete McCaffrey and Robert Kinnon took two frames for the hosts.
Carrick ‘A’ emerged as 3-2 winners in the Golf Club derby. Davy Wright led the fightback with a 43 break, while Gavin Baker and Ricky Bradley secured the next two frames. Billy Hill Junior and Harry Wade made sure the ‘B’ team got off to a good start.
Greenbank ‘B’ enjoyed a comfortable 4-1 win over Ballyclare Old Boys, and St John’s secured a 3-2 victory over The Point.
