Milkman stepped into deliver children
According to the East Antrim Times, primary school children had to walk a mile-and-half from Model Primary to Sunnylands Primary which was being used as temporary accommodation.
Irate mother Mrs JD Hopper pointed out that some children who lived within a two mile radius of their school were able to avail of public transport to school against Ulster Transport Authority regulations. The issue was to be raised with MP Alex Hunter.
