Drumbeg North win ‘Knockout’
The annual summer festival organised by Brownlow Community Council ended with an ‘It’s a Knock-out’ competition in 1985.
Drumbeg North’s team emerged victorious with Moylinn a close second.
The inter-estate competition, held at Moylinn, was just one of the many events Brownlow Community Council organised to celebrate the summer and get the local people together.

Hide AdThe festival began with a six-a-side soccer tournament which was won by Drumbeg Rangers.
The Village Fayre proved to be a great attraction for young and old alike with the highlight being a bonny baby competition.
A pub quiz was also successful with 16 teams taking part.
