Hickman confident he will be in contention at Ulster Grand Prix
The 28-year-old is hoping to build on his impressive debut at Dundrod last year, where he recorded the fastest-ever newcomer lap, took victory in the Dundrod 150 National race and shared joint honours as best newcomer with James Cowton.
Hickman will return to the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix with the Briggs Equipment BMW team, the same squad he races with in British Superbikes, and he’s already looking forward to getting back out on the roads.

“The circuit wasn’t too difficult for me to learn. The hardest thing last season was moving from a Honda in BSB to a BMW on different tyres for the roads, but this year it’s the same bike and the same team so we should be strong.
“I’ve had a lot of time on the bike and my fitness is good again so we’re in a good place.”
