McDonagh’s play-off success sees off Station
The Saints were the only team, however, who didn’t get it all their own way and it took a Dean McDonagh play-off success to secure a 9-7 win at Station Bar.
McDonagh landed a hat-trick during the match along with team-mate Gary Johnston. Station’s Ciaran O’Toole also pocketed a treble.

Ibrox battled to a 9-6 derby win over The Gers with Robert Hawkins chalking up a treble.
Next door No. 1 Blues secured two points with a 9-7 win over BSQ Rangers, with Ryan Scott winning all four and Lee Topping winning three frames.

Hide AdMeanwhile, at St Comgall’s, Ruby’s Rockets blew a 7-3 lead to end up on the wrong end of a 9-7 defeat. Marty Kane won all four frames including the play-off.
Feathers and Thatch Rockets played out a 8-8 draw, with Michael Douglas notching a hat-trick for the birdmen and Alan Corrigan and Rodney McIlhinney on form for the Rockets who each bagged a treble.
