Juniors score full points twice to boost hopes
On Tuesday night the Juniors claimed a maximum 7 points in a 50 shot demolition of local rivals Old Bleach and they repeated the dose on Thursday night with another 7 points in an impressive victory against Ewarts.
Ballymena Juniors 110, Old Bleach 60: John McFall, Neal Garrett, Michael Wilson and Roy Torrington were in scintillating form against F Anderson, winning 31-13.

Hide AdIt did not look good for Alan McAuley, Arnold Kenny, Ivan Lynn and John Coulter, who were staring at defeat against M Robb, however they dug deep and a count of 5 shots on the penultimate end followed by 2 shots on the final gave them victory by 22 shots to 18.
Two counts of 4 shots on the 2nd and 4th ends gave Stephen Coleman, Tommy Hill, Danny McCullough and George Graham just the start they needed in their game against W Patton on rink 3. With two-thirds of the game played the margin was 3 shots but it was the Braid rink who dominated the remainder of the game when they outscored their opponents by 8 shots to 2 to claim victory by 24 shots to 15.
Geoff Padget, Joe McKeown, Jimmy Larkin and David Torrington were 13-11 down against E Evans after 13 ends. The game changed dramatically over the next 7 ends as the Ballymena men took total control of the game, eventually winning 33-14.
Ballymena Juniors 107, Ewarts 60: John McFall, Neal Garrett, Michael Wilson and Roy Torrington were in commanding form against T Holland, winning by 34 shots to six.

Hide AdAllen Stewart, Tommy Hill, Stephen Coleman and George Graham had to fight hard for their point against B McLean, with the final score 24-16.
Alan McAuley, Leslie Barr, Ivan Lynn and John Coulter also found the visiting rink skipped by R Kelly hard to shake off but they had 10 shots (17-17) to spare in the end.
Geoff Padget, Joe McKeown, Jimmy Larkin and Jimmy Hodges had to battle right to the end against R Coggle, wit ha count of ‘2’ on the final end earning a 22-21 victory.
