In-form U13s cruise to victory over Tandragee
The game was played in cruel conditions with any chance of decent football proving difficult but the Juniors did try and pass it to overcome the elements.
They took the lead on seven minutes when Shea Winters picked the ball up in the middle of the park and drove at the heart of the Tandragee defence before threading a pin point ball to the feet of Troy McConville. The striker made no mistake with a well placed shot into the corner of the net.

Hide AdGoalkeeper Jonathon Cartmill was rarely troubled as Town’s solid back four, marshalled by Enda Haddow and Michael McGrath, kept the door shut.
The Juniors went two up on 25 minutes when Cameron Sands found Ben Johnston. His effort was blocked but the ball fell kindly into the path of Troy McConville and he again dispatched his shot low into the corner giving the keeper no chance.
Ben Johnston nearly made it three when he hooked the ball over his right shoulder but his effort went narrowly wide to leave the score 2-0 at the break.
The Juniors kept up the attacks in the second half and found their third goal. In-form winger William Doogan found space out on the right touchline and he drove at the Tandragee defence beating three men before sliding home - a super individual effort.

Hide AdShea Winters almost scored near the end when he went on a trademark mazy solo run, leaving the Tandragee players in his wake but unfortunately his final touch went too close to the ‘keeper and he was unable to finish.
Man of the match was Troy McConville for his two well taken first-half goals that were scored at crucial times.
