Meanwhile, on Saturday Seapark athletes took part in the inaugural WilderBEAST 10-mile trail race held in the grounds of Glenarm Castle.
Results: Ian Cleland 1:06:41 (5th); Jonathan Beattie 1:10:44; Gillian Barnhill 1:17:58; Gary Connolly 1:19:14; Lynda Shannon 1:24:44; Karen Poag 1:36:09; Philip Poag 1:36:09 and Sara Johnson 1:43:38.
Larne AC had a big pool of runners taking part in the first-ever WilderBEAST and Mini Beast at Glenarm Castle.

Hide AdBobby Garrett finished the 5k ‘Mini Beast’ trail race in second place in 21.17, with Gabriel Rodgers claiming third (22.35). Patricia Blair won the ladies’ race in 22.19. She was also third overall.
In the 10-mile race Phelim McAllister was third in 1:03.59. Billy Thompson timed 1.07.44.
Heather Baxter was first lady finisher for Larne in 1.26.23.
Bryan Magee represented Larne AC in the Bearnagh race, which was Round 8 of the Podium4Sport NIMRA championship. He finished 21st overall in a time of 62.53.
