It is hoped that Sinead and Ciaran Chambers, who are Irish Badminton Champions will attend.
At the health check day the club will be promoting the role of community pharmacy and in particular the promotion of pharmacy services offered by MediCare such as the Smoking Cessation Scheme, the Minor Ailments Scheme, Medication Use Reviews (diabetes/asthma) and the Flu Vaccination.
By improving public understanding of pharmacy services and encouraging people to gain early advice for minor ailments, we hope to increase the number of people seeking advice from community pharmacies.

Hide AdWe hope that health check days, like this one at the Lisburn Racquets Club, will help the NI community to better understand the services that pharmacies offer.
The club believe that combined with a national community pharmacy minor ailments service, smoking cessation service and MURs, health promotion days such as this will have a significant impact on the reductions of the burdens on NHS, GP and urgent care resources.
