All tight at Foyle
The Easter Egg competition was won by Matt Donnell, while the Foyle Sunday Society attracted another fine turnout at the weekend with the competitors enjoying a decent day and once again the scoring was of the highest order with 12 handicapper Frank Doherty producing an excellent wining score of 46 points with a 45 points break of tie deciding the minor placings in favour of Gerald Toland (25) who finished second with Mark McCloskey (21) in third place.
The Pitchers Restaurant Spring league continues daily as does the Easter Egg competitions and the Foyle Sunday Society continues at the weekend.

Just two over par after four holes he was two under after eight holes thanks to a glittering run of four successive birdies and with four more more pars to finish he had set a very difficult target of 35 points for the rest of the competitors to chase. Needless to say nobody came near but James McGeady (16) was closest with his 32 points for second place and he was followed home in turn by newly elected club Council member Dermot Hegarty (15) with 31 points.
The Sunday Society competition was claimed by Eamon McCourt (8) after he scored 32 points and Kevin Green (14) was second with 31 points and Peter Deans (14) was third after a break of tie after he too finished with 31 points.
