Friends’ look to the future
The laying down of 12,000m2 of pitch surface is the largest hockey installation currently being undertaken in Northern Ireland.
Friends’ Principal, Elizabeth Dickson, said that she was particularly pleased that the construction of the pitches will mean that all of the School’s home fixtures for rugby and hockey can be played on site on Saturday mornings, making the School a hub of sporting activity. “This facility will be of great benefit to all of our pupils, now and in the future, as well as to the wider community all year round.”

The School very much appreciates this relationship and the support of the Club and hopes that this will continue in the future.”
Works are due for completion in September 2013.
