Hide Ad“We played poorly in the first half and were lucky to go in 1-1 at half-time.
“I thought we could step it up in the second half and we did that. But we could not convert the numerous chances we had and that came back to haunt us in the last few minutes when we gave away a goal through poor defending.
“I was not disappointed by the general play but we were not clinical enough in taking our chances.
“When you are on top you have got to take your chances, even just one of them to put you ahead.”

Hide AdHopefully they can get back on track this Saturday when they travel for a local derby against Annagh United.
“They have some experienced players like Shea Campbell,” said Ciaran.
“The had lost four in a row but won 4-1 away last Saturday and will be buoyed by that. It should be a difficult game.
“I’m hoping that we can bounce back. It’s very important how we react after that defeat.”
