United U-12s produce gr-eight performance
They fired in an impressive eight goals against Sion swifts and will face a top Greenisland side in the last eight.
Blake Douglas scored the pick of the goals with a rasping drive.There was a second half hat trick for substitute Ross McCausland who had already fired in a last minute winner for the 13s in their morning win at Bangor!

Hide AdThe u11s played through a morning blizzard on the 3G and entertained with a hatful of goals in a friendly against Carniny, Adam Millar notching three.The 14s went down to Crusaders at Seaview,while the 15s match suffered the disappointment of a late postponement.
UNDER-11
BUYA 6, Carniny Amateurs 0: Ballymena gained the early initiative and were soon 2-0 up through two Adam Millar strikes.
Millar went on to register a hattrick with further goals from McClure, Matthew Millar and man-of-the-match Mark Lowry.
A special mention to Carniny keeper Nathaniel Hanna who produced a string of superb saves in the first half.

Hide AdBUYA 8, Sion Swifts 0: A close range Adam Gaston finish sent Ballymena on their way, closely followed by a driven effort by Blake Douglas after some lovely build up play.
Changes at the break saw United rejuvenated for the second period and a marvellous Ross McCausland hat trick followed as Sean McAllister dictated the game from midfield with partner Bradley McCartney.
Kyle Neill got a double himself with some good finishing while Scott McCullough raced through to hammer home from 18 yards.

Bangor 1, BUYA 2: In the 15th minute United took the lead when Max Davison pounced to finish from close range but Bangor equalised just before half-time.

Hide AdThe Bangor keeper was in inspired form and they looked to be holding out for a draw when following good work on the wing by Matthew Lorimer he released Ross McCausland who took the ball round the keeper and slot home the winner.

Crusaders 4, BUYA 1: Ballymena put in a good performance with a number of players still missing with injury but didn’t get the rub of the green with some decisions.
Ballymena did score a great goal through Robbie McGaughey near the end of the game and they did not deserve the harsh scoreline.
