Lisburn Mayor hosts reception for Whites
The event recognised the recent 135th anniversary of the club and the on-going, vital roles, fulfilled by volunteers across it.
In addition to the Mayor, Alderman Paul Porter and Lagan Valley MLA Paul Givan attended the event whilst around 30 volunteers - a mix of supporters, board members, coaching staff, academy and supporters’ clubs’ representatives – attended on behalf of the club.

Hide AdThe event was rounded off with a tour of the Council Chamber and the Mayor’s Parlour by The Mayor.
The club would like to extend its thanks again to the Mayor for his hospitality and recognition of the club’s important history in local football and the role played by volunteers in continuing that.
The Whites celebrated 135 years of football with a special gathering last November to mark the occasion.
The club was formed back in 1880 when employees from Dunville’s attended a training session and the rest is definitely history.
