Hide AdBoss Kevin Deery was bitterly disappointed when he heard the news that the teenager will be out for the remainder of the season. “It’s a big blow for him and the club,” he said.
“He has come in and made a great impact with the first team, but first and foremost my thoughts are with Alex. He will be hurting a lot but I know he’ll come back stronger.
“I spoke to Sean Friars (Institute Colts manager), he spent most of the night at the hospital with him and he was upset about the injury, but the club will stand by Alex and make sure he gets whatever he needs.
“Hopefully he can have a good recovery and still have a good future with Institute.”
