Hutton extends City contract
The 41-year-old who replaced Roddy Collins as boss a few months ago has certainly improved the Candystripes form.
In 13 games under Collins, Derry City scored 9 goals and in Hutton’s 14 games as gaffer the Brandywell men have scored 33, while young players Michael Duffy, Barry McNamee and Patrick McEleney have all shone under Hutton’s stewardship.

Hide AdClub chairman Philip O’Doherty was delighted the former skipper extended his deal.
“Peter has really hit the ground running and has achieved a much improved level of performance,” he admitted.
“This two year extension is a vote of confidence in his approach and a recognition of the hard work he has put in, over the last four/five weeks.
“We would ask the fans to show their support for Peter and the team by turning out in large numbers tonight at the Brandywell.”
