Haveron awaits return of quartet
The Gers, who are set to welcome Glentoran to Taylor’s Avenue on Wednesday evening, have been scoring freely in pre-season with comprehensive wins over Amateur League sides Larne Tech Old Boys and Colin Telford’s Dunmurry Rec.
“We still have some players to get back,” said the young Gers boss.

Hide Ad“Anto Lagan is recovering from a foot operation, Adam Dick is not available because of injury, Aidy O’Kane has yet to get back after his wedding in the summer and Aaron Smith is also still not back for us.
“We we still have a few areas of the pitch where we need to strengthen and I am working on that as well as we face the last couple of pre-season matches.
“We have Glentoran at home on Wednesday of this week and then finish up on Saturday with a trip to Wilgar Park to take on Islandmagee, before we conclude with training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday next week.”
