Glenavon ease into next round
Sport and Leisure never had any hope of causing an upset after Brendan Shannon fired the Lurgan Blues ahead on four minutes. It was a great way for the club captain to mark his return to senior action after a year and a half on the sidelines through injury.
After Rhys Marshall headed in a second on seven minutes and an og soon after form O’Neill it was all but over.

The tie also saw Brian McCaul make his first appearance since his midweek move from Linfield.
Glenavon’s reward is an away trip to either Ballinamallard or Strabane in the next round to be played on February 8.
