County Antrim boys go for glory in Milk Cup final
County Antrim will become the first team from the Northern Ireland county structure to play in a Milk Cup final when they take on Everton in the Junior final at the Warden Street venue (4pm) - the first of a triple-header of finals across the three age groups.
Stefan Seaton’s side recorded a memorable 2-1 win over Liverpool in Thursday night’s semi-final at Portstewart.

Hide Ad“We have players from all over the county in the squad. There’s ones from Larne, Ballymena, Ballymoney and west Belfast - they truly represent the whole of the county,” said Seaton.
Remarkably, another of the Province’s County teams - Tyrone - will play in the Premier final when they take on the might of tournament favourites Manchester United (8pm).
In between the Junior and Premier finals, Northern Ireland take on Mexico in the final of the Elite (under-19) section (6pm).
Broughshane also hosts two subsidiary competition play-off matches today, as the curtain falls on the tournament.

Hide AdIn the Globe competition in the Junior section, County Down face Plymouth Argyle in a third/fourth place play-off.
Then at 1.30pm, County Antrim’s Premier side play Americans Strikers FC South Coast to determine third and fourth positions in the Vase competition.
