Collins not happy despite win
Derry City manager Roddy Collins was disappointed despite his side securing a 3-2 win over bottom side Athlone Town.
The Candystripes fell a goal behind on 15 minutes after Town’s James O’Brien fired home, but goals from Enda Curran and Rory Patterson ensured the home side went in at the break 2-1 in front.
Michael Duffy added a third for the Brandywell men on 60 minutes before substitute Jason Marks fired home an unstoppable free-kick on 75 minutes to make it a nervy finish for City.
After the game Sentinel Sport’s Editor Kevin McLaughlin spoke to Collins.
