AMATEUR LEAGUE: Draw specialists Islandmagee share spoils with Nortel

At Haslett Park Barn United slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Larne Tech Old Boys in Division 1A. Dylan Monaghan got the ball rolling in the fourth minute before Kele McAuley added a second-half double.

The Tech are now readying themselves for a home test against unbeaten Dunmurry Rec this weekend. Barn, meanwhile, have the distraction of the first round of the Irish Cup - away to Moneyslane.
In Division 1B, Wellington Rec came out on top in a nine-goal thriller at home to Rathern Rangers, while Mossley won 4-1 at Newington Rangers in 1C.
Elsewhere, 18th Newtownabbey continued their impressive start to the new campaign with a 1-0 victory at Iveagh United.
