FOOTBALL: Institute beat Coleraine in NW Cup final
Eddie McIntyre was the hero as Coleraine's bitter rivals Institute walked away with the trophy, for the fourth time.
The Championship winger struck in either half to secure a 3-1 win for John Gregg's side at The Showgrounds.

Coleraine suffered a blow on four minutes as Stephen Lowry left the field of play on a stretcher.
McIntyre tested McCormick with a low shot on 13 minutes after good build up from Conor Lynch.

Hide AdColeraine didn't heed the warning though and seven McIntyre did find the target.
He picked up a pass outside the box and drove a low shot past McCormick in to the bottom corner of the net.
Former Institute striker Paul Brown almost drew his new side level on 26 after a mistake by visiting keeper Alan Ryan.
The stopper picked the ball up just outside the area and picked up a yellow card for his troubles, But he escaped further punishment as Brown curled just over.

Hide AdSub Darren Boyce drew a good save out of Ryan on 36 minutes after the impressive Ryan Docherty had sent him clear. But Ryan got down well at his near post to parry the shot away.
A minute in to stoppage time Coleraine conceded a second. One-time Bannsiders target Joe McCready picked up Darren Harkin's pass before curling a great shot past McCormick.
Coleraine's woes continued nine minute after the restart as McIntyre grabbed his second of the game.
The winger latched on to Ryan's long kick out an coolly slotted past McCormick with a left foot finish.

Hide AdRyan Docherty was inches away from giving his team a lifeline on 68 minutes, but his shot across goal just beat the far post.
Darren Boyce fired home four minutes from time after the visitors failed to deal with Ogilby's long free kick to set up a tense finish.
David Platt's side peppered the Institute goal in the dying minutes but they couldn't find a way past Alan Ryan.
