Paul Nevin started in pole postion with Richard Stewart on the outside of the front row with Lindsay Ferry, Terrance McConlogue, Gareth Nevin, Thomas Dilly and Gary Laffin following behind.

Hide AdThe race got off to a flying start with Paul Nevin and Richard Stewart battling for first place with Lindsay Ferry, Gareth Nevin and Thomas Dilly closing in on the leaders.
As the two local drivers fought for the Championship title, Paul Nevin went wide at the Brown Trout Corner and Richard Stewart made his move up into first place. He managed to hold onto this spot as Dungannon man Lindsay Ferry made his way up into second place ahead of Thomas Dilly in his national spec Hot Rod. Paul Nevin, who was experiencing mechanical problems, finished in fourth place with his nephew Gareth Nevin in fifth, and Terrance McConlogue and Gary Laffin bringing up the rear.
1600 Bangers – Newcomer William Taggart from Coleraine won the two heats but was unable to hold off the red roof drivers Lee McCloy and Mark McLaughlin

Hide AdA presentation night is being held on Friday 12th November at The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine. There will be a Disco Trophy Presentations and a Buffet Supper. Tickets are 15 and can be bought from Race Control or any of the Promoters.
