Derby win for promoted Seconds
Banbridge knew that Dromore would not go down without a fight, as a win in this match would save the Dromore side from relegation.
Dromore won the toss and opted to start the game with an ariel ball, a skill not often shown by Junior Three players.

Alannah Magee, in great form, was instrumental in the centre of the pitch and caused big problems for the Dromore midfield and defence. Helen Sawyers and Joanna Palnoch, playing midfield also managed to get the better of their players and both had great games.
The defence of Jo- Anne Lyttle, Jessica Hassan, Sarah Dale and Robyn Turkington worked together really well and despite finding themselves under pressure at points throughout the game prevented Dromore from posing any real threat.
Minutes into the second half and on their first attack from centre pass, Rosemary Waddell slipped the ball to Nadene Black who drilled the ball into the back of net.
Banbridge kept piling on the pressure and the forward line of Sarah Anderson, Ashleigh Mitchell and Katie Uprichard worked hard to create positive forward play, slowly pushing through the Dromore defence. Unfortunatly Banbridge where unlucky to convert any further chances, despite winning several short corners, and finished out the remainder of the game by reinforcing the defence to ensure victory.
