Cricket season begins this weekend
Waringstown will be aiming to match the dizzy heights they reached last season after they won the Irish Senior Cup and the Northern Cricket Union Challenge Cup.
Last season’s league runners up Waringstown take on last year’s third placed side Ballymena in a tough opening fixture. The club will be without the services of Obus Pienaar for their 2012 campaign after he was ruled out with a back injury by his franchise club, the Knights.
