Hide AdCarrick’s opening try came from tighthead prop Michael Smylie. It went unconverted and Enniskillen replied with their only score of the game from a penalty.
In the second session, Carrick stepped things up a gear with further tries from Rodgers and McGonigle.
The weather conditions were particularly difficult for kickers and Whitall only managed one conversion.
As Carrick pushed for a bonus-point try, their efforts were cut short by two yellow cards, first to Ross Marsden and then Johnny Sherriff. As a result, the game petered out and both teams were happy to get out of the hail, rain and howling wind.
