B team suffer defeat but Ladies secure victory
Rink 1: J Black, C Davis, K Aiken, S Malcomson.
Rink 2: N Lindsay, R Elliott, H Maxwell, R Malcomson.
Rink 3: T Ogle, WJ Morgan, S Dugan ,A Sudlow.
Rink 4: K Poots, T Sudlow, S Harrison, T Wilson.
On a very heavy green the B team were in deep trouble when the halfway mark was reached twenty three in arrears and no rinks up.
S Malcomson was seven down; R Malcomson, who scored six in the first two ends, was now in arrears of six, Sudlow was two down and Wilson was in the red by eight.

Hide AdThe B team had improved their position at the three quarter stage to cut the deficit to 13.
S Malcomson was six down, R Malcomson was four down, Sudlow had got a seven on end 11 to lead by four and Wilson was now trailing by seven.
In the final six ends the Juniors tried hard to get in front but Divis held on for a victory of 10.S Malcomson and Sudlow were both defeated by five, R Malcomson and T Wilson both came back well to both get draws to earn the Juniors one point.
This evening (Tuesday) at 6.30pm the Juniors will play Hollywood in a game postponed from Saturday and on Saturday the “B” team will make the very long trip to Cork in the Junior Irish Cup.

- This week Dromore Ladies enjoyed reasonable weather for their home league fixture against near neighbours Lagan Valley.
Although the weather was sunny the cool breeze blowing across the green made it difficult to find line and length in the early stages.
Nevertheless, both Dromore rinks settled to their task and quickly established a comfortable lead which the y never relinquished.

Hide AdAt the finish the locals had again secured a maximum five league points by virtue of two winning rinks and a 22 shot victory.
