Another national title as Clyde becomes the All Ireland Champion
Clyde, who races under the name/partnership of I.Rollins&Son, with his father Ivan, belongs to local pigeon club Hillsborough & Maze HPS.
This is the second year in a row that Clyde has managed to win a national race, having won this time last year. This is almost unheard of in the sport.

Hide AdThe INFC Young Bird National is flown every year and on Friday September 20, some 325 members sent 2804 birds, racing for £11,698 in pools and prizemoney. These birds were released at 10am and made short work of the favourable conditions and homed in less than 4 hours for the 241 mile trip.
The first pigeon, and winner of the National, Andre’s Girl, who was purchased in Belgium earlier this year, was clocked at 13.50.58, achieving the velocity of 1835ypm {over 62mph}.
