'YOU'RE NOT WELCOME IN GLENVARNA'
The bomb, described by Army Technical Officers as "a viable incendiary type device", was uncovered when police officers carried out a search operation at a house in Glenvarna Drive on Wednesday (June 23).
A number of neighbouring properties were evacuated during the alert and several people were moved to Ballyhenry Presbyterian Church Hall, but were able to return to their homes a few hours later.

Hide AdThe incendiary device is thought to have contained a pipe-bomb and two litres of flammable liquid. It is understood that two balaclavas were also seized during the search of the house, which is close to Ballyhenry Primary School.
On Tuesday, a PSNI spokesperson confirmed that a woman was arrested in connection with the incident, but has since been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
DUP representative Robert Hill, who lives in the area, said that residents in the estate are angry that people's lives had been put in danger.
