Wellbeing workshop held at Curran Court
The workshop at the Curran Court Hotel was facilitated by Una Condron of Tranquility Holistic Therapies.
The event brought together community, voluntary and statutory sector organisations to learn, discuss and participate in ways to improve mental, emotional, physical and holistic health.

Hide AdThe 5 Ways to Wellbeing programme, devised by Nic Marks of Happiness Works, consists of five “steps” or “ways” which people can take to improve their health and wellbeing. The five ways are: Connect (with others), Be Active (engage in some type of physical activity), Take Notice (be aware of the environment we live in), Keep Learning (try learning new things) and Give (volunteer, smile or do a random act of kindness).
Organisations who attended the workshop included Age Concern, Larne Walking Group, Blossoms at Larne, NHSCT Bereaved by Suicide Project, NACN Suicide Prevention Project, Mindwise, Volunteer Now and yoga instructor Sue McBride.
