Thunderdome helps make life easier for new mums
Kieran McNeill presented two specially designed floor seats for mothers nursing their new born children to the Northern Trust’s Glengormley group.
The group meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 10.30am to 12pm in Glengormley Community Services on the Carnmoney Road.

At the group mothers can practice feeding in company if they wish, learn tips for breastfeeding while out and about, and receive advice on planning their return to work.
Antenatal mothers who would like more information about breastfeeding and new mothers are also very welcome to drop into the group.
A regular topic discussed at the group is how breastfeeding friendly local businesses are.

Local breastfeeding coordinator Sinead Lynch said: “I would like to thank Kieran for his gift and I would encourage other local businesses including cafes, hairdressers, cinemas and leisure facilities to sign up to the Breastfeeding Welcome Here Scheme at www.breastfedbabies.org.
“Mothers can log on to this site directly to find breastfeeding friendly premises or visit www.northerntrust.hscni.net/livewell and follow the links to pregnancy and postnatal information.”
