The present hour is all we need to see
It’s never too late to clasp the reigns again
Though it appears all hope is lost to view
Trust where you cannot see and keep going
Who knows what a little prayer can do.
Smile, though sorrow may darken your sky
Bravely taking all things within your stride
Remember day by day that Jesus loves you
One in whom you always can confide.
Someone may be waiting upon a letter
A caring word, perhaps a little company
Often some things may seem insurmountable
The present hour is all we need to see.
As curtains we draw at close of day
Let’s be thankful for what has been sent
Leave to the Lord what lies in store
It’s such a blessing to be content.
