That’s Andy twice over
Two Ulster Unionist Party councillors, both called Andrew Wilson, have been elected to Mid and East Antrim Council.
Andrew Wilson from Larne, and his namesake from Carrickfergus, secured seats in Larne Lough and Knockagh district electoral areas respectively.
Larne’s Mr Wilson said the result confused the deputy returning officer and the UUP party leader Mike Nesbitt, who both congratulated him when it was the other Andrew Wilson who had been elected.
