Supporters step out for Larne Hospice Walk
Kind-hearted local people laced up their walking shoes this morning and stepped out in support of the annual Larne Hospice Walk.
The event is one of the most popular of the 10 Hospice Walks taking place throughout Northern Ireland with the aim of raising £100,000 to support the care of people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Droves of people turned out for the event, which began at Larne Lesiure Centre and saw walkers pound the Coast Road in support of this worthwhile cause.
This year’s appeal is extra special, as the NI Hospice prepares to open its new £13m adult hospice in Belfast this spring.
