Strike called off as deal struck at Interface’s Silverwood factory
According to the Union Unite, a ballot of members which was finalised on Friday morning voted in favour of the new deal.
The union said staff had considered taking all out strike action after being unhappy with offers on pay and negotiations.

Hide AdHowever, amid a flurry of last minute negotiations this week with the Labour Relations Agency, industrial action has been avoided.
The union had said workers were willing to walk out at 12.30pm on Friday.
However, local Unite representative Sean McKeever said a resolution had been found and the strike had been called off.
He said workers had agreed to accept the firm’s final offer.
