Sinn Fein MLA resigns council seat
Mr Milne recently replaced party colleague Francie Molloy in the Assembly after he was elected MP for Mid-Ulster.
The Bellaghy father-of-three has represented the Moyola ward since 2005 and his recent move to the Assembly was strongly criticized by local Unionist politicians.

At the monthly meeting of the council this week the Sinn Fein Chairperson Councillor Catherine Elattor announced that Patricia Smyth would be replacing Mr Milne.
She wished the new member all the best for the future.
