Senior Counsel charged £4k for advice
Health Minister Micheal McGimpsey advised the Trust secured legal advice from Senior Counsel at a cost of 4,000.
He revealed the sum in response to an Assembly Question by Lord Morrow. He was unable to provide details of the full legal cost of the high profile case to the Trust.

Hide AdHe explained: "I am advised that the Western Health and Social Care Trust (the Trust) has an annual block contract with the Directorate of Legal Services which covers all aspects of legal services sought by the Trust.
"The hours used to provide legal advice in this case have been drawn from this block. It is not possible to separate out the specific cost for this case.
"I am also advised that, in addition, the Trust secured legal advice from Senior Counsel and the cost of this will be in the region of 4,000."
