Rathvarna plan is revealed
This project has been a collaborative one involving a number of stakeholders including the Council, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and community representatives from a number of groups. A series of meetings were held over a six-month period.
Alderman Paul Porter, Chairman of the Council’s Leisure Services Committee and Chair of the Project Working Group, said: “It was excellent to see so many residents attend the public consultation and provide feedback on the plans for the new community facility within Rathvarna. The Council is committed to ensuring that there are sufficient community based facilities to be accessed by everyone throughout the area and this project has addressed the need within the wider Lisburn North area.”
