Pupils encouraged to get involved with outreach project
The University of Ulster’s School of Engineering is encouraging local post-primary pupils to pursue an engineering career through its Widening Access and Participation initiative.
Pupils will be able to attend a short course in Electric Vehicle Engineering lasting two days at the Jordanstown campus.

Hide AdWith guidance from second year undergraduate engineering students from the Tutoring in Schools programme, pupils will learn new skills, using Solid Edge CAD software to design their cars. They will then utilise cutting edge engineering techniques to build their cars for racing in Greenpower’s IET Formula 24 championship in June 2014.
