Pupil sustains fracture after collision
The Times understands the incident occurred in the vicinity of Hazelwood Integrated College on Thursday, March 16, but details were only made public by the police yesterday.
It is understood the collision, involving a schoolchild in uniform and a small red car took place at approximately 3:30pm.

Hide AdAppealing for information, a police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for help to identify a small red car, possibly a Vauxhall Corsa displaying an “R” plate being driven by a young female.
“The vehicle was seen travelling down the Whitewell Road towards the Shore Road when it struck the pupil as he was attempting to cross the road, resulting in the pupil sustaining a broken ankle.
“If you witnessed this incident and have any information that would help identify the vehicle, please contact police on 101, quoting reference 979 of 16/03/17.”
