The Bann DEA councillor said: “I was speaking at the time and I was interrupted twice after the Committee chair had cleared me to speak. “On both occasions I referred to the interruption as a ‘foreign station’ as I was unaware as to who was interrupting me. “Their gender was, and is irrelevant on this matter.” He added that if a councillor has something to say, that other councillors should wait until the current speaker is finished, wait their turn and address their remarks through the Chair.
