First Minister assures schoolboy: ‘Santa is coming to Northern Ireland’
During an interview with Downtown Radio’s Stuart Robinson, Mrs Foster read aloud a letter she had received earlier this week from eight-year-old Larne boy, Jacob.
“‘Dear First Minister, will Santa be allowed to visit this year? Thank you for keeping us safe during Covid,’” Mrs Foster said.

Mrs Foster emphasized that Santa had been “working hard” to make sure Covid-19 didn’t reach his Lapland home. “He’s been taking all of the measures and making sure that his reindeer are safe as well,” she said.
“He tells me he has a full schedule for Christmas Eve and is looking forward to visiting Northern Ireland, as he always does, because he tells me that when he comes to Northern Ireland he always receives lovely mince pies, lots of milk, and carrots for the reindeer.
“I have no doubt that Santa is coming to Northern Ireland.”
