Hide AdThis is one of many existing retailers to up-size in recent months after Holland & Barrett up-sized into a 2,125 square foot unit and Vogue and Argento effectively doubled up, taking units of 2,250 square feet and 1,200 square feet respectively. There have also been several lettings to new retailers including Trespass, Deli Bean, Uberfone and AXA totalling approximately 4,000 square feet.
In addition to the new lettings and retailers up-sizing, works are ongoing to create a new 45,000 square foot store for Next, which will be its largest in Northern Ireland. Dunnes Stores are also upgrading and extending their unit by 13,000 square feet to create a 35,000 square foot flagship store in Northern Ireland.
Lambert Smith Hampton and Joint Leasing McMullen Wilson acted on behalf of Abbeycentre.
Jonathan Martin, Associate Director at Lambert Smith Hampton, commented: “The two latest lettings will further strengthen the already impressive fashion line up in the centre. Both retailers are now open and trading and they have been well received by our shoppers. There is currently only one vacant unit in the centre and we are already in advanced negotiations on this space.”
