Man arrested in Brocagh for ‘being drunk in possession of a firearm’
Police have arrested a 65-year-old man for ‘being drunk in possession of a firearm’ following an incident in Brocagh on Monday evening.
A call was reportedly made for PSNI assistance at 5.49pm because the man was “behaving in a threatening manner” in the Brocagh Terrace area.
Speaking about the incident, Inspector Keith Jamieson said: “We received a report that a man was behaving in a threatening manner.
“Police arrested a 65-year-old man for being drunk in possession of a firearm, and items were seized.
“The man was later bailed pending further enquiries.”
