Man arrested for possession of a Stanley knife in the city centre
Just before 8pm on Thursday June 11 CCTV operators received a police report of two males making their way to Lisburn city centre , one having been seen to be concealing a Stanley knife.
CCTV staff were able to identify the males from footage and police were informed.
A description of the pair was circulated and a CityWatch member reported via radio link that the two males were leaving a store and making their way onto Bow Street.

Hide AdPolice were informed and directed to the males who were then stopped.
Both males were searched and a Stanley Knife was recovered from one of the males who was then arrested for possession of an item with a blade or point.
